The Program:

NRMA Holiday Parks joined forces with the Starlight Children's Foundation to host 100 holidays for families with seriously ill children throughout NSW and ACT.

Families enjoyed a 4 night break to have fun, recharge the batteries and most importantly get away from hospital rooms and doctors.

Program Statistics:

• Total stays - 100
• Total nights - 400
• Parents/Carers - 211
• Siblings - 147
• Average age of Starlight child - 11 years

Value of holidays donated on the program - $75,000

Feedback from the families was wonderful and due to the program's success NRMA has extended the program to continue to give a well deserved break to seriously ill children and their families.

 "My Favourite part of the holiday park was the mushroom pool and cool jumping pillow and it made me feel very happy. My favourite thing about the holiday was simply being able to relax and forget the worries for one whole week. Watching the kids having fun and making memories to treasure was priceless."
